The Assistant Bookkeeper will assist the Bookkeeper in all accounting duties.
This includes, but is not limited to:
journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting in the month-end close process.
The Assistant will also be responsible for assisting with the month-end close process and assisting with the preparation of financial statements and other reports as needed.
This position will report to the Bookkeeper.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and have a passion for learning new accounting concepts.
This position will be required to work on their own or with support staff as needed.

Assisting in month-end close process and preparation of financial statements and other reports as needed.
Assist in preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting in the month-end close process.
Assist with preparation of accounts payable invoices and bank deposits.
Assist with accounts receivable duties including collection of past due invoices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Experience:
3
years of experience in accounting preferred but not required (we will train the right candidate if you do not have any experience).
