Description BERT OGDEN MISSION KIA RECEPTIONIST 2307 E Expressway 83 Mission, TX 78572 JOB DESCRIPTIONThe receptionist is responsible for meeting and greeting the customers as they enter the building.
By presenting a professional appearance, maintaining an upbeat attitude, to provide a positive first impression.
The receptionist should project the same presence on the phone when customers call.
In addition, in the receptionist role, you must know to whom to route incoming calls and be able to take notes accurately when calls cannot be routed to appropriate person.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Meet and greet customers with courtesy and efficiency Maintain a professional appearance Use of appropriate telephone techniques and phone etiquette Answer customer's questions over the phone Refer callers to the right department, if department is not available, a message is to be taken When a message is taken from the customers, it should be clear and legible File paperwork (receipts / vehicle plates) Sort and deliver mail to managers within same building Operate fax machine / scanners All other duties as assigned Requirements
Qualifications:
o Two to four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Strong interpersonal skills.
o Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructionso Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
o Commitment to excellence and high standards.
o Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
o Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
o Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
o Bilingual skills a plus.
o Professional appearance and demeanor are a requirement.
Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid Texas Driver License Must be 21 or older Must pass a drug test.
Must pass a background screening.
