Industrial Sales Manager, Oil & Gas (Bentonite Clay Analysis)
Location: Houston, Texas.

I. Company Overview:
Our client is a global consumer products and industrial products manufacturer with locations around the globe. Our client is currently growing rapidly in the U.S. market, and is looking for highly talented individuals to join The Houston, Texas team.
II. Position
Summary:
The Industrial Sales Manager is part of our client's BUC Industrial Group. The Industrial Sales Manager must have API and Oil & Gas experience. They are ideally a MUD Engineer that has a clear understanding of clays and bentonite, the drilling process, and who has moved successfully into Sales.
MUD Engineer:A MUD engineer (correctly called a Drilling Fluids Engineer, but most often referred to as the "Mud Man") works on an oil well or gas well drilling rig, and is responsible for ensuring the properties of the drilling fluid, also known as drilling mud, are within designed specifications.
II. Position Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the sales and business development actives for our client's wide range of mineral additives, for the petroleum refinery and drilling fluids market, in order to reach the objectives of our client's strategic business plan.
o To identify and to develop new distributors, clients, markets and business opportunities. This will include:
o Carrying out market research and viability/impact studies
o Use various methods including searching across records, professional directories, internet, etc. in order to generate leads and business interest
o Manage the design, development, and generation of new products in coordination with various departments
o Additional responsibilities include:
o Follow-up and sales control:
o Sales evolution and forecast
o Identify new location and sectors for new business opportunities
o Manage customer relationships to ensure sales life cycle with customers
III. Position Requirements:
o Must have API and Oil & Gas experience.
o Solid sales experience in the refinery-petroleum market /drilling fluids business development.
IV. Compensation & Benefits Package:
